Jamesia is a highly sought after consultant, motivational speaker, facilitator, trainer, and mentor. Through her business, she helps agencies, organizations & communities better empathize, engage, and empower their under-resourced clients using proven strategies and techniques to build sustainable communities. As a certified Bridges out of Poverty trainer, She has helped communities and more than 100 under-resourced individuals through the Getting Ahead Curriculum. She continues to serve those Getting Ahead graduates through monthly support & learning groups using a self-created model and annual empowerment conferences.
Over the last 8 years, she has dedicated much of her efforts to impacting her community as a Bridges out of Poverty and Getting Ahead facilitator. Jamesia is actively involved in the City of Lynchburg’s initiative, to significantly reduce the poverty rate. She is also a member of Bridges of Central Virginia, Poverty to Progress, Alliance for Excellence, Network 2 Work and several boards throughout Region 2000.
